Yikes!

I'm into my third week of the Multiple Subject Credential program and I'm quite overwhelmed!!! I can't believe how demanding it is. What makes it even harder is that I am not a Liberal Studies major, so I'm learning everything for the very first time. I'm taking it one day at a time, because that is all I can do, and I'm sure it will get better. I don't like creating lesson plans!!

Limon and Cenral Valley Latino Mixer

The other evening I attended a Latino mixer in Fresno put together by a family friend and then after we went to a Peruvian restaurant owned by a family friend. Great food, great atmosphere and a wonderful evening spent with friends and family. There is an original Limon restaurant up in the bay area but they have brought one down here to Fresno and its just been open for three weeks. Go and check it out. 7735 N. Blackstone Ave, next to Hooters

Ceviche de Pescado, this was wonderful, halibut marinated in lime juice with onions, Peruvian corn, and some roasted nuts with a slice of a yam.

Pisco Sour! Wow, this drink is native to Peru and very strong, so strong I gave it to someone else to drink

Gina playing pool at the mixer, who won? I did!
